RHS operates solely as a networking directory and referral platform connecting homeowners with local licensed and insured contractors. We are not a home service provider, general contractor, broker, or intermediary in any contract, payment, or dispute resolution between users.

  • RHS does not collect or process payments for any service transactions between homeowners and contractors.
  • RHS is not a party to any agreements, negotiations, or service arrangements between users.
  • You acknowledge and agree that any engagement, payment, or agreement is made solely between you and the other party (homeowner or contractor).

2. User Responsibilities

a. For Homeowners:

  • Perform due diligence before hiring any contractor.
  • Understand that all services are delivered independently by the contractor, not RHS.
  • Report violations, concerns, or suspected fraud to us—but understand we are not liable for any outcome.

b. For Contractors:

  • Maintain valid licensing, insurance, and bonding as required by law.
  • Submit only accurate, truthful business and service information.
  • Understand that inclusion on the platform does not constitute endorsement or guarantee by RHS.

3. Limitations of Liability and Legal Disclaimers

By using this Site, you agree not to hold RHS, its owners, team members, or affiliates liable under any circumstance for:

  • Service quality, workmanship, or outcome of any job.
  • Contractor performance, delays, damage, or lack of payment.
  • Personal injury, death, or property damage resulting from third-party services.
  • Fraud, misrepresentation, or breach of contract between users.

IMPORTANT: Racine Home Services does not warrant or guarantee the outcome of any user engagement. The platform is offered “as-is” and “as-available” without warranties of any kind.

You agree that RHS is not liable now or in the future for any:

  • Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Legal claims, disputes, or lawsuits initiated by any party.
  • Financial loss or damage resulting from use of this Site or services listed herein.

4. Indemnification Clause

6. Subscription, Membership & Fees

  • All platform subscription fees are non-refundable unless stated in writing.
  • Features and pricing are subject to change with or without notice.
  • RHS reserves the right to deny or revoke access to users violating platform terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, content, branding, designs, and software on this Site are the exclusive property of RHS or its licensors and may not be copied, distributed, or reused without written permission.

8. No Legal or Contractual Advisory Role

RHS does not offer legal, contracting, or real estate advice. All information is provided for informational and networking purposes only. Use of this Site does not establish a client-service relationship with RHS or its owners.

9. Termination

RHS reserves the right to:

  • Deny or restrict access to any user,
  • Remove listings or content,
  • Terminate accounts without notice for any behavior deemed abusive, dishonest, unlawful, or in violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes must be filed in Racine County Circuit Court, and you waive any objection to such venue.
